Our Story

Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, Colin arrived to work ready to take on the day. He went to go to his office to get his treatment plans ready but-wait. What’s this? Who is the beautiful person sitting at the desk ready to check in members of the gym?

Colin’s curiosity got the best of him and he approached the desk ready to work his charm.

"Did you go to Cornell?" He sweetly asked the woman at the front desk wearing a Cornell sweatshirt.

"No."

And that was it.

Fast forward a few months later and Colin was on his Bumble profile making sure there were plenty of shirtless pictures available with all the right angles when he noticed a message alert from "Jillian B."

Jillian: "Hey."

Colin: "Hey, you look familiar, do I know you from the gym?"

Jillian: "I used to work at the front desk attached to your PT office."

Colin: "That’s right! How am I ever going to see you again?"

Jillian: "When you ask me out for a drink."

And the plans were set. Colin picked out his best button down to wear and planned to show Jillian his stomping grounds in the North End.

Jillian arrived at North Square Oyster where Colin had been waiting patiently for their very first date. Unfortunately this was a poorly picked restaurant given Jillian’s disdain of seafood but luckily there was wine. A lot of wine. There they spent hours conversing, laughing, and getting to know each other over their shared love of red wine.

Date one quickly led to date two and date two led to many more. Soon enough, friends were introduced and families were met.

A few years later, Colin led Jillian back to the restaurant where it all began. Unbeknownst to Jillian, she was going to be asked the biggest question to date. With the help of Jillian’s best friend, Mandy, Colin devised a plan to lead Jillian to the North End where he would surprise her by asking for her hand in marriage in the very restaurant they had their first date.
